The first trial involves 688 students and the second trial involves 696 students. The research is conducted on students of SMP N 5 Yogyakarta, SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta, and SMPIT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta. This development research is carried out in several steps namely: preparing initial scales, trials, and interpretation of trials result. The purpose of this study is to develop a scale to measure honesty characters of students on mathematics learning using sucject scaling model.
SRSML has a lot of potential to be used both in the character assessment activities of students in learning mathematics to strengthen character education and educational research, especially related to the student's responsibility character. Scale reliability is also categorized as good with Omega coefficient of 0.89. The scale has good content validity supported by V Aiken index of 0.88-0.92. Based on this study, the result of Student's Responsibility Scale on Mathematics Learning (SRSML) consisted of 14 items in the form of subject scaling which theoretically and empirically proved to be of good quality. The first trial involved 688 students and a second trial involved 696 students. The scale was developed by using subject scaling models and tested on junior high school students in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. A scale for measuring student's responsibility in mathematics learning was developed through this study. The use of relevant, valid, and reliable instruments is necessary to obtain accurate and accountable information about the conditions of student's responsibility. The attempts to strengthen the character of student responsibilities require in-depth information about the actual state of student's responsibility.
The character of responsibility is an important character that Indonesian students must possess. Optimization of teacher-made achievement tests produces more qualified test kits in performing measurement functions, as evidenced by the scores obtained by students which accurately describe their real abilities during the learning process 80% of the items have good differentiation, the average index value is 0.30-0.50. Item analysis is performed for multiple choice tests with 94.3% of questions have moderate difficulty level, the range of index values is 0.53-0.67.
The test was developed by following the standards for writing a proper test, all procedures taken have been approved by experts from a qualitative perspective. The results of the development are in the form of achievement tests for Social science subjects at the fifth grade of elementary school, consisting of 35 multiple choice items and 5 essay items. Analysis of item characteristics uses classical test theory. Field trials were carried out 2 times, with the number of respondents increasing each stage. The method used is Research and Development, following the 4 main steps of the Richey RDPE model, namely: research, design, production and evaluation. The research goal is to develop an accurate learning evaluation instrument in Social science (IPS) subject in elementary school. The study findings were (1) the Affective Self-assessment Instrument of Chemistry for High School Student had 15 valid and reliable items and 15 available items to be utilized by teachers to measure students’ affective in the learning process and (2) the chemistry affective domain ability trend of male high school students was dominated by the “good” category and “very good” category for female students.
The sample size was 405 students categorized into two stages and sampling techniques, i.e., the trial stage using cluster random sampling and the measurement stage using simple random sampling. The study population was all high school students in Yogyakarta Special Region. The current development study utilized 10 non-test instrument development procedures from Mardapi. P style="text-align: justify ">The study objectives were (1) developing a valid and reliable Affective Self-assessment Instrument of Chemistry for High School Student and (2) discovering the chemistry affective domain ability trend of high school students based on gender.
